Castlecliff Park Transforms for Launch this Sunday

In a colorful celebration of community spirit, Castlecliff Park is set to undergo a stunning transformation this Sunday with the launch of the "Paint the Park" community project. The initiative, spearheaded by Fleet Line Markers and Project Castlecliff, aims to breathe new life into the park, kickstarted with the painting of the basketball court.

 

The project took its first brushstrokes on Sunday 5 November 2023 when local artist Mike Marsh along with some helpers from the local community  gathered to revamp the park's basketball court. After countless hours of collaboration and creativity, the court now boasts a kaleidoscope of colors with an eye-catching designs that promises to turn the space into a visual spectacle."Paint the Park" not only enhances the aesthetics of Castlecliff Park but also promotes a sense of community pride and unity.

The official launch of the "Paint the Park" project is scheduled for this Sunday, with festivities kicking off at 11 am. The event will feature games hosted by Sport Whanganui, food trucks and more.

As the countdown to Sunday's launch begins, anticipation and enthusiasm are building throughout the community.
