What paint should I use?

The Fleet Robot is built to hold our 10L or 12.5L Jerry Cans which come with our Q2 or Fort Paints.

How accurate is the Robot?

What technical skills do you need to use the app?

Using our app requires minimal technical skills. If you're familiar with navigating social media platforms like Facebook, you should find our app intuitive and easy to use. However, rest assured that we provide comprehensive training to ensure that all users feel comfortable and confident utilizing all the features and functionalities of the app.

Does the Robot need a base station?

Yes - you will need access to a base station. However, the specific type of base station required can vary depending on your needs and the unique circumstances of your operation. Whether you need a static base station or a movable solution, we are flexible and prepared to work with you to determine the most suitable option. 

What type of connectivity do I need to run the Robot?

The Fleet Robot primarily connects through 4G however there are also 2.4ghz options available

What are the ongoing costs?

The ongoing costs primarily consist of a yearly subscription-based fee. This fee operates on a sliding scale, meaning it can vary depending on the number of robots in use. While the initial purchase may cover the hardware expenses, the subscription ensures continued access to support, updates, and any additional services provided.

How long does the battery last?

The battery life of the device is approximately 4 hours on a single charge. However, to extend its operational duration, the batteries are designed to be removable. This feature allows you to have additional batteries readily available, enabling seamless switching between fields and ensuring uninterrupted operation for extended periods beyond the initial 4-hour timeframe.

Do I need to purchase anything other than paint to run the robot once it arrives?

No, you won't need to purchase anything other than paint once the robot arrives. Your initial purchase covers the cost of the robot itself, as well as access to a fixed base station. This means that once your robot arrives, you'll have everything you need to start using it right away, without the need for any additional purchases or investments.

What happens if my Robot stops working?

If your robot encounters any issues or malfunctions, rest assured that support is readily available. You can easily reach out to our New Zealand-based support team for assistance with troubleshooting. Additionally, our app is designed to track the status of the robot, allowing for real-time monitoring and diagnostics. This data is transmitted back to our team, enabling us to provide comprehensive support in identifying and resolving any issues promptly.

Can I find my Robot if it gets stolen?

Yes, you can track your robot in the unfortunate event that it gets stolen. Our Fleet Robot is equipped with geolocation technology, allowing us to pinpoint its exact location or trace its movements if it is moved without authorization. This feature provides peace of mind, enabling swift action to recover the stolen robot and prevent any misuse or loss.

 Is it Waterproof?

Yes, the Fleet Robot is waterproof. However, it's important to note that while it can withstand exposure to water, we advise against certain activities such as waterblasting with the lid open or submerging it for extended periods. While it can handle various weather conditions and light water exposure during its operation, excessive or improper exposure to water could potentially compromise its functionality. So, while it's resilient to water, it's best to exercise caution and avoid extreme water-related activities that could damage the robot.

Will it stop when there are obstacles

Yes, the Fleet Robot is equipped with a built-in sensor designed to detect obstacles in its path. When an obstacle is detected, the robot will automatically stop its movement to prevent any collisions. Additionally, it will send a warning notification through the accompanying app, alerting the user to the presence of obstacles in the robot's vicinity.

Will it warn me if the paint gets low?

Yes, the Fleet Robot includes a feature that alerts you when the paint levels are low. Once the paint reaches a certain threshold, a notification will be sent through the app, informing you that it's time to refill the paint reservoir. Additionally, the robot is programmed not to start painting a line if there isn't enough paint to complete the task adequately. This ensures that you're always aware of the paint status and prevents interruptions during the painting process due to insufficient paint levels.
